Officially opened up in 2005, Aquaria KLCC is an oceanarium that is located in the concourse of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The oceanarium is a multi-level facility that houses over 5000 species of land and aquatic animals from Malaysia and around the world in a 60,000 square foot area.
The main highlight of Aquaria KLCC is its 90m long walk-through transparent tunnel where you are carried by travelator past an impressive collection of tiger sharks, stingrays and many more aquatic creatures! Feeding sessions also take the spotlight here as they take place throughout the day and gather huge crowds.
A unique activity that takes place here is Dive With Sharks, which invites you to take a plunge into the 2.5 million litre oceanarium to interact with the different shark species and other creatures. Children will especially love Aquaria KLCC as there are plenty of interactive exhibits such as touch pools and a forest area where they can learn more about their favorite animals. A visit here is perfect for a family day together as there is an exhibit for each person to enjoy.
