Since 2004, KLPac has been playing the role of Malaysia’s premier performing arts center. Located just by the serene lake in Sentul Park, the scenery surrounding KLPac is a good enough reason to come here! As soon as you enter you’re greeted by lush greenery on both sides of the road until you reach an old building which signifies the entrance to the park. Further up the road is where the KLPac building is. Fun history fact - it was actually a railway warehouse back in the day and goes back to the 1800’s! The red bricks that make up the bulk of the structure give you a retro homely feeling and combined with the glass structure and greenery, it’ll bring out the artistic side in you.
Throughout the year, KLPac hosts around 100 major events and special ones such as the French Art Festival, Malaysian Dance festival, SHORT+SWEET festival and Urbanscapes. KLPac boasts 3 different stages that can fit about 800 people combined, as well as 9 studios for rehearsals and training.
Inside the premises, you can also find 3 excellent restaurants and a cafe to unwind and relax before going for your show. KLPac is a non profit company that aims to cultivate the interest in the local performing arts and educate future generation. Many of the events organized are self-directed and will surely leave you with great memories of beautiful performances.
