Safety tips
Safety tips
- Check your scuba gear and equipments, making sure they’re all on correctly and everything is functioning. Offer to check your buddies gear and ask them to do the same for you.
- Know to dive within your limits and capabilities. If you aren’t comfortable diving around wrecks or deep areas, don’t do it. It’s okay to not succumb to peer pressure.
- Don’t wander off alone while underwater. Keep line of sight with your other dive buddies and make sure you know the proper signals to notify them you’re having trouble.
Insiders’ tips
Insiders’ tips

- The park has a ‘no fins’ policy. You cannot use your fins when diving or snorkelling in the waters.
- Do note that the showers in the changing rooms located in the marine park Visitor’s Centre spray sea water instead of treated water.
- For beginners, a one day diving package (inclusive of equipment) costs between RM 430 - RM 480. For certified divers (who bring along their ORIGINAL license), expect the price to be around RM 400 - RM 450.
