Just a 5-minute drive away from Langkawi Wildlife Park & Bird Paradise, you can head North to Gua Kelawar, literally meaning Bat Cave. It is part of the Kilim Geopark and is famous for the large number of Malaysian fruit bats that call the cave home. Plus, before you even enter the caves, you’ll walk on a wooden footbridge through the mangroves before being greeted by the huge limestone formations in the cave.

If you’re using a rented car/motorbike, it’s easy to get to the Wildlife Park as it is right by the Jalan Ayer Hangat main road. The second best option would be to hire a taxi to take you to the park. Albeit a little pricey, it is more reliable than the bus services. Just remember to tell the taxi driver that you need a ride back too!
