Funded by a generous local successful entrepreneur, the man dedicated his hard work to provide convenient and useful public religious facility for the locals. This new landmark of Kedah is located in Jalan Langgar, Alor Setar, that is 3km away from the city centre. It is more than just a place for Muslims to pray as it also consists a medical centre, senior citizen academy, learning centre and orphanage centre within its complex
Accommodatable as many as 1600 people at one time, this mosque will be particularly packed during annual Muslims’ religious celebrations of Aidilfitri and Aidiladha. This is a great moment for any visitors to witness the Malay Muslims’ culture in Malaysia and capture some colourful shots of the festivities!
