The Langkawi Cable Car, also known as Langkawi SkyCab, is one of the major attractions in Langkawi Island. It provides an exhilarating cable car ride over Langkawi’s lush jungles and 550 million years old rock. From the Oriental Village at Teluk Burau to the peak of Gunung Machinchang, which is also the location of the Langkawi Sky Bridge. The total length is 2,200 meter, with a journey time from the base to the top of around 15 minutes.

You can rent a car or the easiest and hassle free mode of transportation is by getting a taxi from your hotel to the Oriental Village at Burau Bay. Not to worry, getting back is relatively easy too as there will be taxis available by the park.

- To reach the SkyCab ticket desk, visitors must walk through the Oriental Village which has many restaurants, food stalls, and duty-free stores, as well as clothing, jewelry, and souvenir shops.
- If you want full experience, try the glass bottom gondola.
- The glass-floor gondola ride costs RM50/pax per way. It is truly an exhilarating experience to get a bird's eye view from beneath our feet.
- For Malaysian kid price is RM28 and adult RM38
- Bring mineral water or drinking water
- Bring digital camera
