Bukit Saga is a popular spot for hikers with an addition of a waterfall. Located in Cheras, the low hill is about 410m high. Despite the low elevation, there are many up and downs including some steep ones. Most hikers who come here are usually nearby residents who keep themselves fit with a daily stroll through the many trails in Bukit Saga. Although, some experienced hikers also come here in order to prepare themselves for other mountain trails such as Mount Kinabalu as the steep incline of Bukit Saga and length of the trail provide a good preparation platform.
The trail of Bukit Saga is fairly busy - especially on weekends - so the path is well worn and easy to follow. It is a long trail with plenty of ups and downs with a number of side routes so hikers can happily spend several hours exploring the forest while getting health exercise. There are 3 routes available which is named as A, B, and C. Route A is the shortest and possibly the most popular as route B and C is slightly longer than route A, and is less steep and slightly easier to climb.
