Bukit Broga (Broga Hill) or originally known as Bukit Lalang is a 400 meters high hill that is located in Semenyih. To get to Bukit Broga from the city of Kuala Lumpur is a 40 minutes drive away. The hill is famously known for its incredibly amazing panoramic view- especially at dawn. Along with that, to capture the views, it is accessible easy by foot as everything is by the peak of Bukit Broga.

What to bring?
There some things that you might need to bring during this hike- A jacket is optional as the summit can be cold due to strong wind, bring mosquito repellents if you are prone to taking lots of rest stops along the way, bring a flashlight as there are no lights when you are hiking early in the morning and of course, bring a monopod, if you don’t have it better have one now as it helps a lot, especially for group selfies.

Washroom facilities are also provided at the entrance with a price of RM1/entry. However, the car park charge is reasonable at RM2/entry. Free parking is available along the road but it is strongly not advisable as you are putting your vehicle at risk.

It is highly recommended by experience hikers to hike up Bukit Broga on weekdays morning as weekends are usually packed with people that can disrupt your hiking experiences. The chance to view the beautiful sunrises is also at risk on weekends as there are many hikers that will block the view.
Before hiking, be sure to check the weather forecast the day or night before. If it’s raining, it won’t be advisable to hike. Lastly, please keep your rubbish with you at all times until you find a garbage bin. There has been rubbish thrown without consideration. If you want to enjoy the scenery, make sure you leave the place in a good condition.
