30 km away from town of Seremban, you can find the famous Kuala Klawang Customs Museum or also known as Muzium Adat among locals, It was opened back in 2008, with the aim of gathering the customs displays and historical artifacts from various ethnicities of Malaysia in one place. A visit here can also be a good starting point to learn about the cultural diversity that Malaysia has to offer.
The museum houses 4 exhibition galleries on 3 levels. The ground floor exhibition provides an introduction to Adat (customs) and the multiple races and ethnicities in Malaysia along with an overview of their customs. The galleries on the first and second floor deal with the Life Cycle; practices associated with birth, death, marriage, rituals and music, as well as displays of Intellectual Tradition; including historical artifacts and explanations of the Malay monarchy. The gallery on the third floor is entirely dedicated to Adat Perpatih, which is a strong custom influence practiced in Negeri Sembilan.
The museum is well signposted and has clear explanations on the exhibits. You can also go along for a guided tour if you wish to gain in depth learning experiences. Head over to the popular weekend spot Jeram Toi for a 15-minute drive. Jeram Toi is known for its refreshing waterfalls and natural pools that are within a forest reserve area. The pools are easy to access and the holiday area has been upgraded with facilities such as water slides, public toilets, food stalls, car park and a small shop selling floats and swimming items near the entrance. With clean waters, no entrance fees and 4 levels to enjoy, Jeram Toi is the ideal spot to cool off and enjoy nature with your loved ones.

From the main bus hub in Seremban - Terminal 1, simply take the City Liner bus that runs from Seremban to Kuala Klawang. The cost for a one way trip is RM 4 per person with frequency of the bus every 40 minutes.

- Weekends draw in a bigger crowd compared to the weekdays. If you prefer an uninterrupted visit, it is best to visit on weekday mornings.
- If you plan to go on a Sunday morning, do take note that you might be stuck in a small traffic jam due to the Sunday morning market located nearby the museum.
- To take part in the free 1 hour guided tour by the museum officials, make sure to call ahead in order to reserve your place.
- Facilities in the museum include a library, surau for Muslim prayers, a mini stage and a car park.
- Museum is closed on Muslim celebrations of Aidilfitri and Aidiladha.
