The Centipede Temple is a famous attraction in Seremban due to it’s huge centipede stone statue at the temple. The legend says that finding a centipede here is believed to bring people luck and prosperity. The temple itself is 140 years old and has a 176 step staircase to reach the top of Bukit Jong, upon where the hill is located.
The vantage point that the temple provides over the green countryside sets a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere as you can get the breeze from both sides of the hill. There is also the Yue Lao, otherwise known as the God of Marriage statue where couples come to hook up lockets with red string with the wishes of a long union together.
Other attractions here include the Guan Yin statue, tortoise pool, and statues of the Eight Immortals scattered around the temple grounds. A visit here during nighttime is also well recommended as it is lit up in pretty colors and is a good place to get a beautiful view of Seremban after sunset.
