- The gallery is privately owned and although entrance is free, you are welcome to hand out any amount of donation or tip the staff who shows you around.
- The Javanese traditional houses are known as Joglo and each house represents a different theme and concept, displaying a huge variety of masks, puppets as well as antiques. It is definitely worth checking out all houses if you have the time as the displays are from various kinds, and some might even creep you out a bit!
- Be mindful of the displays and exhibits if you are visiting this area with children. These massive private collection are protected and carefully taken care of.
- There are toilets available in the area which are clean and well maintained.
