Narmada Park Lombok is one of the largest and oldest historical parks in Lombok, Indonesia. The park complex dedicated to the King's consort covering about 2 hectares of garden was built in 1727 by King of Mataram Lombok and it was specially designed to pamper the royal family. As history have it, Narmada Park was constructed to replicate the beauty of Rinjani mountain's summit and its craters.
The park is frequent by the locals as a place to celebrate the Pakelem ceremony held every full moon of Caka fifth year. - Don't miss the freshly grounded nuts and sliced fruits sold in the garden, they are awesome!
- While visiting temples, you will need a sash or Sarong, sometimes both. As good as always, you can borrow these at the temple entrance for free.
- You have a choice to reject attached guide that will be offered at temple entrances even though their charges are small.
