From Ubud main town, Puri Lukisan Museum is just 300m west of the famous Ubud Palace or Puri Ubud. It is easy to find as the museum is located along the main street, Jl. Raya Ubud. To enter the compounds, you will go up a small hill in center of Ubud with a pleasant view of gardens and rice fields up north.

- The exhibition buildings are open daily from 9am to 6pm. The area also provides restaurant and cafe which is open from 10am to 9pm.
- Puri Lukisan runs a number of art and cultural workshops in order to give the visitors a deeper understanding of Balinese arts. Classes include traditional painting, woodcarving, dance and offering making.
- Class duration ranging from 1 hour up to the whole day. You can arrange with the operator at the museum if you are interested to take up these art classes and workshops.
- Admission for children below 15 years old is free.
- You can contact the museum operator to arrange for discounted group tours if you are coming in larger crowds. It is better as there will be a guide to assist your group tour.
