Getting around
The easiest way to get here is by MRT and stop at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. You can also reach National Museum of Singapore by public buses or taxis. Alternatively, use ride-hailing apps to travel from anywhere in town. If you are visiting nearby attractions, reach the museum with a 10 to 20-minute walk from Little India, Orchard Road or Clarke Quay.

- Parking may be limited especially during weekends.
- Free guided tours are available for a maximum of 15 people. However, it is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- Advance tour booking is required with 4 weeks’ notice for groups of 8 or more.
- Group visits of more than 20 people will require prior booking to avoid overcrowding of the museum.
- While you are here, be mindful and adhere to the museum etiquette.
- Do not to touch or rest on display panels showcases and gallery walls. Food and drinks are not allowed within the premise.
- Selfie sticks, flash photography and videography are not allowed.
- For visitors who are bringing backpacks, cabin bags or other bulky items, do note that they are not allowed in the museum.
- There are lockers for bulky items located in the Basement and on Level 2 for you to store your belongings safely.
- Last admission times are at: 5.00 pm for Gallery10, 6.15 pm for Glass Rotunda and 6.30 pm for all other galleries.
- There are no entrance fees for Singaporeans and PRs. Non--Singaporeans need to pay S$15 for entrance fee or S$10 for those eligible for concession.
- There are additional fees for special exhibitions which applies to both Singaporeans and non-Singaporeans. For more information on the entrance fees, special promotions and group discounts, head over to their official website.
