Nestled in Singapore’s Civic District, the National Gallery of Singapore houses a wide public collection of modern and contemporary art masterpieces. Take time to see all the artworks displayed as they reflect the rich cultural legacies of Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Housed in two national monuments (the former Supreme Court Building and City Hall), the building is a unique combination of architectural magnificence as well as a historical significance. National Gallery of Singapore has two permanent galleries namely the DBS Singapore Gallery and the UOB Southeast Asia Gallery.
True to its spirit of art experimentation, the special set of research galleries allows experimentation of new ways to present the gallery’s existing artworks. Meanwhile, the changing gallery spaces hosts international travelling exhibitions from time to time.

Public transport is easily accessible and is a convenient way to travel to the National Gallery of Singapore. The easiest way is by taking the MRT. You can stop at the nearest station, City Hall MRT station and walk via Art Connector for approximately 7 minutes to reach the gallery. There are also public buses available to this location. Alternatively, use ride-hailing apps to travel from anywhere in town. Drop off for taxis and ride-hailing apps is Coleman Street Entrance.
