Located at Chestnut Avenue in Bukit Timah, the park encompasses an area of 81 hectares where visitors can peacefully wander in its greenery. Chestnut Nature Park is also the largest nature park in Singapore, and it is divided into South and North parts. By MRT, take the LRT and alight at Pending LRT station. Then walk to Zhenghua Park leading to Zhenghua underpass to get to Chestnut Nature Park. By bus, you can take bus 700 or 966 and alight at Block 202, Petir Road. The park is just a 30-minute walk from the bus stop.

- Before heading over, do check the weather forecasts as the park is in the outdoors. It is not recommended to visit during bad weather to prevent hazard from falling trees or branches.
- Wear clothing and shoes that are light, breathable, and comfortable as you will be doing some outdoor activities.
- If you wish to spend more time here, it is recommended to pack along water and light snacks, sunscreen, hand towel, head gear, insect repellent, and a raincoat.
- The park is a green space and smoke-free area. Also, take note that no pets are allowed here.
- There are separate hiking and biking trails. Take up the challenge of doing both one after another if you have the time!
- As the park area is pretty large, do follow the signs available to avoid getting lost. Should you bring small children along, be sure to keep an eye on them at all times.
- Visitors who drive here can park at the car park available at the eastern end of Chestnut Avenue.
- You can have a picnic here too, so bring a picnic mat, packed food, and a garbage bag. However, remember to dispose your leftovers at designated bins around the park right after and keep the area clean.
