At Bukit Timah Saddle Club, there are plenty of ways for you and your loved ones to have some fun! It makes an ideal place for beginners to experience horse riding too. Whether you are a first-timer or experienced in equestrian sports, you will still enjoy the 45-minute guided, lead-rein trek on one of the Riding School ponies or horses. Do not be afraid of the ponies or horses as they are well-trained. Follow the briefing and you will be just fine.
Travelling here with children? Let them experience their first Pony Ride here. This is a safe introductory experience to get your child acquainted with horseback riding. The pony will be led on the ride and utmost safety measures will be taken while ensuring your kid has a safe ride throughout. - Listen to the safety briefing closely before starting the activity.
- If there are any safety concerns before or during the ride, do inform the instructors as soon as possible.
- Do not make sudden moves or loud noises which can startle the horse or pony.
- Refrain from tying yourself to a horse or pony in any way.
- Do not feed treats to horses.
- Be aware of the actions of small children while they are around the stables to ensure they are safe.

- Bukit Timah Saddle Club is closed during public holidays.
- Plan your trip ahead if you bring children (3-12 years old) as the Pony Rides are only available on weekends, every Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am – 1.00pm. This activity is unavailable during poor weather conditions.
- To try horse riding, it is advisable to wear a comfortable and sturdy pair of shoes. Sandals, thin shoes, and flip flops are not allowed.
- For visitors to explore the Trail Ride, there are different packages available. For 1 rider, there is a private package that costs $150 per person. A 2-rider Semi-private package costs S$115 per person and for a group of 3 person, the Group package is the cheapest at S$105 per person.
- The club actively hosts several activities on a regular basis such as beginner’s course, public riding and pony camps.
- The club offers dressage, showjumping, and cross country as well as career training for horse grooms and riding instructors for equestrian enthusiasts.
- To be a club member of Bukit Timah Saddle Club, expect to fork out a 4-figure annual membership fee if you intend to pick up the sport seriously!
- It is possible to arrange a dreamy photoshoot at the club with or without a horse. It is also a popular wedding photography spot in Singapore. Be warned though-the photoshoot will incur additional fees.
