Before you start fearing for your life, the snakes here are pretty docile. With the scent of incense burning all around the temple, the tree snakes and vipers lay motionless on their perches. Devotees and visitors can walk around freely - with prayers and offerings being offered to the temple deity. There is also a snake pool at the back of the temple, filled with fruit trees where the snakes are just chilling out and cooling off on hot days.
