The Marina Barrage is a multifunctional reservoir. It is the nation’s 15th reservoir, and the first to be built in the heart of the city. - Do arrive around 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm to avoid the crowd and sweltering midday heat.
- In the evening, the sky is filled with vibrant kites. Indulge in the pleasure of kite-flying yourself by bringing your own kite or buying some from Barrage Cove kite shop located nearby.
- If you are up for a kite flying session, purchase kites from the Barrage Cove Kite Shop which are priced from S$15. Let your kite stand out among the rest with LED light strips (to attach to the kite) available from S$28.
