Situated around 20 km away from Johor Bahru, the Plentong International Karting Circuit is tucked away inside the plantations of Plentong. The primary go-kart operator here is Permas Go Kart. The track itself is the longest one in Malaysia at 1.433 km in length with 14 turns and two straight sections in the 10.5 hectare circuit.
You can easily reach up to 160km/h on the straights and some of the tight turns make for excellent racing with many points for overtaking. The go-karting offered at Plentong is fun and suitable for friends going out for a great race or sibling rivalry!

- Extra shirt to change
- Straps to secure your glasses
- Parking space provided.
- Lockers to store your belongings.
- Restaurants and small canteens selling drinks and light meals are situated in the circuit grounds.

Safety tips
- Pay attention to the safety briefings by the instructors and obey all rules and flags during the go-karting session.
- Be careful not to touch the hot metal of the engines as you enter or exit the go-kart.
- Always keep your helmet on when you are inside the go-kart and make sure your seatbelt and harnesses are secured. If you were not given a helmet, insist for it.
- There are plenty of sharp turns on the track. If you’re inexperienced, slow down when needed as some sections of the track do not have proper barricades in place.

- Most of the carts here are old but still are being maintained.
- When choosing your carts, try going after the ones that look less beaten up.
- It’s best to bring an extra shirt with you to change into after the go-karting session as you will be drenched with sweat.
- Try not to wear a white shirt during the race as the seats can smudge it.
- For regular fun go-kart rentals, the rates are for a 10 minute sessions for both children and adults. It is RM 35 on weekdays and RM 40 on weekends.
- If you wish to drive your own go-kart at Plentong, the rates are RM 106 for non-members and RM 65 for members for a day of go-karting.
- Corporate events can also be set up. Refer to Permas Go Kart for the rates.
