Bukit Batu Lebah is located is a forest reserve of Bukit Senggeh in Jasin, Melaka. It is situated about 20 KM from a small town named Selandar. Bukit Batu Lebah is standing high at about 500M to 600M from sea level. The hill is famous for its wide range of big rocks formation and hidden caves. People called it Bukit Batu Lebah (Bee Hives Hill) because once there are many bee hives among the caves and rocks. You can find rocks similar to a snakehead, ships and small caves. The caves are actually holes or opening to another side of track.
The hill is known as a special attraction as it is a very suitable place for beginner hikers to train themselves and develop their hiking skill before they go for higher mountains. At the middle of the hill, there is a rock platform that was made by nature. From the platform, hikers can enjoy the nature scene of Kampung Bukit Senggeh and its surrounding areas. On the horizon, hikers can see the straits of Melaka. By using binoculars, hikers can see clearly the ships in the straits and beehives at the rock.

Facilities such as toilet, cafeteria, surau, and recreational hut can also be found along the hiking tracks. The recreational forest opens everyday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

It is advisable to hike during the morning as the temperature rises in the afternoon. If possible, try to arrive as early as 7:00 am to 8:00 am for the best hiking experience. Don’t forget to bring the standardized item for hiking such as enough food, medicine, and spare clothing. Even though there are water dispensers prepared during the hike, just a step of precaution, bring enough water supplies as you never know when you might need it. Make sure your shoes are also hiking appropriate so that you won’t injure yourself along the way.
