- Though there is free wifi service said to be offered here, it can still be really slow and mobile phone signal in this area is weak.
- The park is always very crowded on weekends and you will have to queue for long to take photos at the treetop as well as to go on the adrenaline bridge.
- Check the weather upon deciding to visit Kalibiru National Park. Don't visit the park while it's raining as the photo spots will be closed due of safety concerns and the view is also poor.
- Also on Fridays, it is not recommended to visit Kalibiru between 11.00 am till 1.30 pm. Indonesia is a Muslim majority country therefore the officials will be observing the Friday prayer in the mosque. The locals that might be available by that time are very poor in English.
- Be conversant with the weather if you plan to rent a scooter to get there especially in wet season. Go at the time the day that has the most sun safe hours to avoid getting soaking wet.
- It is not recommended to get here by motorcycle or scooter. The road which leads to Kalibiru National Park is not steep but pretty narrow with many sharp curves which could be dangerous if you are inexperienced drivers.
- Most of the taxis in Yogyakarta offers a standard of 12-hour transportation service from IDR 500,000. But if you will like to go for less hours you can ask your accommodation place for a ride for a better deal. It's possible they will have a ride that will cost about IDR 200,000 per return trip for 1-3 hours.
- Go late and enjoy the sunset at Kalibiru National Park as it is known to be one of the most beautiful experience there.
- There are no trekking trails there and the place is quite small with most people going there just to take photos.
- Each person is allocated 5 minutes to take pictures and sometimes more if there are less crowd or queue to go up the tree spots.
- There is a separate additional charge to take photos at each photo spot available here ranging from IDR 10,000 to IDR 15,000.
- Outdoor activities comes with a package price from IDR 35,000 where you can choose to experience flying fox, spider web, sling and go on a wooden bridge.
