In order to reach the waterfall, visitors need to go through a moderately challenging route such as passing through teak forest. Trekking through the lush forest on a designated trail will let you enjoy views of the river, beautiful jungle scenery and even spot wildlife like tropical birds.

- It is advisable to make your way here early in the morning as the river flow is calmer and safer for swimming.
- If you do not prefer to trek, you can also reach the waterfall by renting a raft boat for IDR 10,000 per pax for a round trip.
- Should you have extra time, body rafting can also be done here at Oya River for IDR 35,000 per pax.
