Imogiri Pine Forest is located 45 minutes away from Yogyakarta central. When travelling here, no public transportation passing this area. You will have to rent a car or scooter to get here. If you are from Yogyakarta, head south to the ring road and it will lead you to Imogiri Timur street. You will reach Imogiri three lane junction and go left towards cemetery of Imogiri. Before reaching the cemetery, you see another three junction and take the right turn to Mangunan and go straight until you smell the aromatic fresh pines scent.

- If you are a smoker, please be sure not to throw away your cigarettes in the open area as it could trigger dangerous wildfire.
- There is no entrance fee required but you will most likely be charged for parking at IDR2,000 per motorbike or IDR4,000 for cars.
- Bring along your own drinks and snacks as there are no stalls here.
- For more fun, choose to camp here at the designated area with your friends or family. You can spend a night here camping from IDR 20,000 per person.
- Alternatively, you could choose to rent a hammock and enjoy lazing around while listening to sounds of nature in the forest.
