The Ipoh Heritage Trail is essentially a large route covering all of Ipoh’s historic sights in the town area. You can pick up the heritage trail maps at the town’s tourist information centre.
Points of interest covered along the tour route is Ipoh’s Railway Station, Birch Memorial, Concubine Lane and many more! It’s perfect for a first timer in Ipoh as you pass by many of the important areas all in one go. The trail is about 6.5 km long and takes you a mere two hours should you follow the route. Along the way you can also look for the famous street arts on the walls of the buildings and a bite to eat as you pass by many stalls selling street food.
There is a guided version of the heritage trail as well! It is free of charge, just register yourself in front of the Ipoh Railway Station at 8am on Saturday morning to join the guided tour.
