Mount Ledang is known to locals for its legend of having deities reside in it. The most famous legend linked to it was The Legend of Hang Tuah and Puteri Gunung Ledang and also The Legend of Gunung Ledang itself that in modern times, famous producer produced movies about them providing tales and values to the next generations. Mount Ledang is approximately 1276m high, that is 4182ft in measurement making it the highest mountain in Johor state.
Hiking towards the peak of Mount Ledang is going to be sometime around 6 hours. Along the way, hikers could stumble across many challenges, obstacles and surfaces designed by none other than nature itselves, but help was given too, by the infrastructures provided by the authority. Be it either by rope, stairs and staircases, hikers could satisfy their adventure by having sweats pouring down their skins and encounter many beautiful scenery and nature environments such as streams of clear water pouring down from the peak, moss of rocks beautifully decorated, trees unlike the normal ones you see, soils and ground place that are filled with spreading tree roots, and many other more for hikers to experience, that is based on “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” word.
