Your ride begins with a 50 minute adventure from Kuching through the Sarawak countryside full of valleys planted with paddy, fruits and tapioca. Winding through small villages past plantations on your journey there, you will arrive at the Bidayuh village of Kampung Bengoh which serves as the starting point for the 11km kayak adventure! From here, it will take around 2-4 hours depending on the river conditions to reach the endpoint of Kampung Semadang.
After paddling lessons and safety briefs, you’re off into the pristine jungle where you can go at your own leisurely pace and enjoy the scenery of the rock formations, riverside villages and any wildlife you can spot with your eye! Along the kayaking route, you can stop at the bank and take a break or have a dip if you wish. During the activity, you will stop by at the Bidayuh Village for lunch break and you can freshen up with some local food offered there.
