- While waiting for horseback riding or if you are a parent, accompanying your child for the horseback riding, do not stand behind the horse as you might risk getting yourself kicked by its back legs.
- Parents are not allowed to ride on the horse with their children but they can accompany them by walking at the side.

- During the weekends, do expect a long queue for popular activities such as horseback riding. It is advisable to arrive earlier to avoid the long wait.
- If you are over 80kg, you are not allowed for the horseback riding the horses could not carry so much weight but you are more than welcome to watch at the side.
- Do try their dairy products while you are there as the milk is produced from their own farm. You can even find milk with different flavours such as chocolate, strawberry or even mocha at the food stalls available there.
- Entrance fee to De’ Ranch Lembang is IDR 10,000 per person and free for children under the age of 2.
- For horse riding, there will be an additional charge of IDR 25,000.
- There are also other activities such as carriage riding or the locals call it, riding a ‘delman’. The ride is usually about 30 minutes and one can actually still find these ‘delman’ in the suburbs of Bandung.
- If you are feeling adventurous, you can even attempt to drive the delman but under professional supervision.
