What to expect?
The Ethnobotanic Garden is a park managed by KESEDAR (South Kelantan Development Authority) and is located about 3km away from the small town of Gua Musang. The area is well known in Malaysia as a premier spot for rock climbing due to the abundance of limestone cliffs in the area.
There are currently 30 routes ranging from grades 5A to 7B. As the place is well-maintained, there are built facilities such as accommodation and toilets to make the park more tourist-friendly. Besides the rock climbing, you can also enjoy the livestock centre here that has cassowaries and deer! There is also a herbal plant cultivation park and canopy walk nearby if you are keen to explore more of the garden’s nature.
