Discovering a part of Borneo in Sabah. My friends and I are going to make this trip from Kota Kinabalu and then we will head to Sandakan.
Trip from Kokol Hill or to Kinabalu Park takes about 1 hour 45 mins. Best to rent a car with your buddies!
If you’re staying in Kota Kinabalu, make your way here early as the activity starts at 11am. Then, we are taking the night bus to Sandakan.
For our first day in Sandakan, we’re taking a trip to Lankayan Island. Bring along your waterproof camera and diving logbook if you are planning to dive here (which is highly recommended!!)
Exploring wildlife unique to Borneo island. There will be a lot of walking to do, so wear comfortable shoes and light clothes for this trip.
