Located on the edge of Kota Bharu town, Min House Camp in Kubang Kerian promises every visitor a wonderful nature experience, appealing mainly to those who enjoy discovering flora and fauna in the outdoors. The compound area of the camp houses a variety of facilities ranging from chalets, multipurpose halls, a bee farm, a firefly garden, an organic farm, mini petting zoo and even hosts water sport activities such as kayaking, river bathing, fishing and clam digging.
One of the interesting highlights here is to go for firefly-watching at night. You will be taken on a boat ride and stop in an area where you can witness beautiful fireflies sighting that lights up the place naturally! The boat ride for the firefly-watching starts operating from 8pm to 11pm. Other than that, visitors can also engage in the many cultural activities offered including handicraft-making, cooking lessons, traditional games and watch cultural performances such as the wayang kulit (shadow play) and dikir barat (a Kelantanese traditional dance).

40km from this camp is where a famous waterfall located known as Jeram Pasu. It is known as one of the popular hotspots in Pasir Puteh which takes only a half an hour drive from here. There are also other attractions located nearby such as museum, beaches, temple and local villages. You can liaise with the camp guide and they will arrange it for you.

The location of this camp is quite secluded and the road here will be a bit rough and muddy depending on the weather. Visitors are recommended to hire a local guide or driver that can take you here or just rent a four-wheel drive to make your trip here more adventurous!

- It is best to come in a group or with your friends or families as most of the activities are arranged in groups.
- Public and school holidays are known as peak season, so make sure you make a reservation early if you’re planning to visit the camp.

- If you wish to explore the whole place and try its many activities, a day won’t be enough. Choose to stay here with the provided accommodations or just plan to camp here overnight as the compound provides a decent camping area.
- As there are limited number of dorms and chalet, be sure to book your visit beforehand. It is advisable to contact the camp a week earlier or so.
