It is not often one gets to get up close and personal with so many animals and wildlife in one large place. Not only that, the Prigen Safari Park is also the biggest safari park in Asia with 250 hectares of area worth exploring! The park offers a wide variety of animal shows where visitors can also interact with some of the tame animals. If you want your kids or yourself to enjoy some outdoor activities, Prigen Safari Park would be the perfect place as everyone can learn more about the animals and also enjoy the experience of feeding and petting the animals in an open area.
Prigen Safari Park or also known as Taman Safari Indonesia 2, offers a unique environment as well as a great list of facilities. - Be cautious when you are entering the wild animals zone. Do not wind down your car windows too low as they can still be dangerous.

- If you do not want to be rushed throughout your time there at the park, you can also opt for a private tour so you can experience the whole journey there at your own pace.
- Some tours to Mount Bromo also include Prigen Safari Park as part of the itinerary so you are able to explore a few major attractions in East Java.
- Here, you will find many vendors selling carrots. Grab some of them to feed the animals through your journey here.
- Do plan ahead if you are planning to visit the safari park as the whole tour experience can take up to more than 3 hours or else you will miss out of some of the popular shows and activities there.
- There are special promotions and group packages available if you are travelling in large groups. Check with registered tour operators or the park’s office instead.
- You can drive your own car and enjoy the tour at the safari or choose to ride on the bus provided by the zoo.
- There might some traffic congestions as there is only one way in and one way out from the park. Some people might take their time to feed the animals there so please be patient if your vehicle is backed up.
