If you are travelling from Padang to Bukittinggi or the opposite direction, do stop by this unique attraction as it is not everyday you will come across a waterfall located so near to the road that you can almost touch its clear waters.

- There is no proper parking space there so do take into consideration if you are planning to drive there. All cars and buses will just park at the roadside sometimes making it difficult for tourists to walk.
- As the waterfall is sited near to a busy road, there will be constant traffic and if you have little children, do pay a bit more attention to them if you have to cross the road to see the waterfall.
- Do not go swimming if it is raining as it might be dangerous even though you think that the water is shallow. Some tourist have commented that some parts of the path will be flooded during the rain so it is best to keep that in mind while you are visiting the waterfall.
- Situated near to the busy road meaning this tourist spot is almost always packed with people so do not get frustrated if you could not get a good shot of the waterfall as everyone will want to also take pictures of the view as well. Be patient and do not let the crowd ruin your mood.
- Should you plan to have a picnic by the waterfall, do not forget to bring a rubbish bag to dispose all your leftovers and keep the areas clean.
