- Be sure that all your safety harnesses are carefully fastened before you take off. Request for your instructor to double check your gears.
- In case of a sudden wind condition upon your arrival, do not proceed with your intention to paraglide as it could be dangerous.
- Stay calm, even if it is your first time as the experience is best enjoyed when you are feeling less worried about the ride up.

- Do prepare a jacket or a raincoat as sometimes the weather is unpredictable. It is usually cold at the top of Puncak Lawang and at night time.
- Do prepare more cash if you want to experience paragliding at Puncak Lawang as some tourists are not aware that this activity is available until they went up to the peak where activity signboards can be seen.
- Apart from paragliding, there are also other outdoor activities available such as trekking or zip lining where you can try to experience here in Puncak Lawang too!
- Most people also frequent Puncak Lawang to enjoy a picnic as it is quite breezy and makes a great place to have a meal or two overlooking a panoramic view of nature.
- To use your action camera, do set it up to record your bird’s-eye view of the whole surrounding whilst you are paragliding.
- Some suggested doing the paragliding in the mid-morning when there are lesser clouds and skies are clearer.
- There are no public transportation available that heads to Puncak Lawang directly so tourists are advised to hire their own private transportation in advance or to drive their own rental car here.
