For caving and sightseeing, Tomolo Cave offers great scenery and nature experiences where travellers can get in Raja Ampat regency. However, you will need to travel via boat to reach some other destinations as Misool Island is also surrounded by small islets. Tomolo Cave is located at Misool Island. From Sorong, you need to take a speedboat to reach Misool Island. Once you are there, rent a small boat with a guide to take you to Tomolo Cave.

- The best time to visit is during daytime, especially on clear mornings or up until the sun sets. It is not advisable for visitors to wander around the compounds of the cave during night time.
- Although Tomolo Cave is deemed as a tourist spot in Misool Island, the locals do consider this cave as a sacred place which holds a special meaning to their hearts. Thus, if you are planning to visit this cave, please do have some respect and do not act carelessly or do anything to destroy the environment there.
- There are no shops or restaurants there, so do prepare bottled waters and some light snacks along with you when you travel there.
- Tomolo Cave is surrounded by sea and the entrance of the cave is wet too due to the fact that there is sea water so do prepared with suitable clothing and needed essentials to enter the cave and try any activities here.
- The treks around Tomolo Cave might appear challenging to some, especially for beginners. Be sure that you come with a local guide, especially if you are travelling solo.
